Geka has expanded its production capabilities. Starting mid-year, complete, sales-ready products will leave the production line in Bechhofen, Germany. Construction work on the new filling facility will begin in January.

Starting in July, all production services will be available from a single source: applicator, packaging, graphics, decoration—and now, brand-new cosmetic filling capabilities. Eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss will be filled on fully automated, flexible, state-of-the-art equipment. Planning work has been completed for the facility, which will measure 650 square meters, and construction starts in January.

According to Geka, this expansion of the company’s production capabilities will offer added value to customers, as fully finished products streamline its manufacturing and coordination processes, reduce transportation costs and shorten delivery times. That means lower costs, reduced complexity in the value-added chain, and product components that are perfectly matched and coordinated. Thus Geka promises the ideal combination of formulation, applicator, and packaging at an early stage – beginning with product development.
